“The Great American Dream Home Raffle”
MVM created the brand at the height of the nations foreclosure crisis.
Prestige Development had a problem, a luxury home on the market during the nations real estate bust. Mt Vernon Marketing devised a strategy to promote the home raffle with partial proceeds benefiting those facing foreclosure in Maryland. This approach created a number of positive outcomes:
• Ticket sales to pay for the home.
• A socially relevant story attracting free local print and TV media exposure.
• Promotion for the nonprofit providing counseling for those in foreclosure.
The Great American Dream Home Raffle website was the focal point of a multi-media print and electronic marketing campaign to promote the sale of raffle tickets in the Mid-Atlantic region.
